WORLD FAMOUS WATERFALLS...🔥
1. Angel Falls - Venezuela
The Angel Falls is the highest waterfall in the world. It's situated in Venezuela. This waterfall drops down from a height of 979 meters. Between June and November is the greatest months to visit this beautiful waterfall.
2. Yosemite Falls - California
Yosemite National Park in California is home to countless waterfalls, the most famous and tallest being the majestic Yosemite Falls, which drops 739 meters. The flow over the waterfalls three stages is at it's most impressive in late May/ early June when snow on the Sierra Nevada mountains begins to melt. If you'll possibly only see a trickle of water if you visit the park in August. A paved walkway that is accessible to everybody provides a scenic route to the base of Yosemite Falls.
3. Niagara Falls - USA/ Canada
Niagara Falls is one of the famous waterfalls in the world. It is located on the border between the United States and Canada and also it can be viewed from either country. But in the view from Canadian side is typically rated as being the best. However, if you visit western New York state, you will have the opportunity to see all three of Niagara's falls.
4. Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe/ Zambia
The Victoria Falls which run 1708 meters over Zimbabwe and Zambia are one of the world's seven natural wonders are beautiful waterfalls that are a must see on African vacations. The Victoria waterfalls original name is ''Mosi-oa-Tunya". It's means 'smoke that thunders'. A suitable choice given that the Victoria Falls noise can be heard from a distance of 40 kilometers and it's spray can be felt up to 50 kilometers away.
5. Kilt Rock/ Mealt Waterfall - Scotland
Kilt Rock/ Mealt waterfall is one another famous waterfall in the world. We can visit the Trotternish Peninsula for spectacular views of Kilt Rock and Mealt waterfall. The Kilt Rock resembles a Scottish kilt and Mealt falls was named after Loch Mealt the fresh water lake it feeds. Visitors may witness the waterfall for 170 feet without interruption before it reaches the sea below.
6. Plitvice Waterfall - Croatia
The Plitvice Waterfalls are found in the Plitvice Lakes National Park. This is also one another beautiful waterfall in the world. There are 16 lakes falling into one another in a sequence of turquoise cascades. And also we can see beautiful butterflies in this beautiful place. Millions of butterflies flutter through the woodland canopy, creating colorful clouds.
7. Multnomah Fall - Oregon
The Multnomah Falls was formed as a result of the Missoula Floods and it's the tallest waterfall in Oregon. The falls are divided in two sections. The upper falls which are 542 feet tall and the lower falls which are 69 feet tall. Multnomah falls is a year round cascade because to underground springs from Larch Mountain. Multnomah Falls is only a 30 minute drive from Portland and the top half of the falls can be seen from the highway.
8. Kaieteur Fall - Guyana
The Kaieteur Falls in Guyana is the world's widest single drop waterfall. It's in Kaieteur Park right in the heart of the Amazon forest. The falls are considered to be one of the tallest and most powerful waterfall in the world. At 820 feet tall, they are higher than Niagara Falls and Victoria Falls. So, Kaieteur Fall is also one of the beautiful waterfall in the world.
9. Gullfoss Fall - Iceland
Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most famous waterfalls, is certainly stunning on a sunny day when hundreds of rainbows appear in clouds of spray. Water cascades down the unique shaped Gullfoss in two stages during the summer months falling 32 meters into a deep crevice below. It is located in the Haukadalur Valley in the upper part of the Hvita river.
